The Mission Italia Guest House

We have a Ministy Guesthouse, which we offer as a retreat for individuals, team groups, married couples, and families serving in Christian ministry. (Up to 6 people.) It is available to pastors, missionaries, and those in vocational Christian ministry — at low cost (free-will offering to help cover taxes and utilities). With the hope that they can enjoy a time of renewal, relaxation, and refreshment. We invite them to “come… to a quiet place and get some rest,” Mark 6:31 NIV.

The purpose of the guesthouse is to offer:

  • A time of spiritual, physical, and emotional renewal and restoration.
  • A temporary home for ministers and missionaries during times of transition.
  • Counseling, prayer, and pastoral care for those facing burn-out, discouragement, or other crisis (personal/family/professional).
  • We also invite you to join our time of prayer and Bible study each Friday morning.
ITALY HAS LONG BEEN KNOWN AS THE MISSIONARY GRAVEYARD. WE WANT TO see IT become A MISSIONARY VINEYARD!

The Location of the village

Located near Vasto in the Chieti province. A peaceful and welcoming village of about 3,500 people, it nestles along a hilltop in the Appenine foothills (at 300 m), surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It lies between the Adriatic seacoast and the Maiella mountain range. Just 15 minutes from Autostrada A14.

Location of the home

The house is located in the historic center, in a lovely, quiet setting down a medieval alleyway, near amenities. An easy walk to the restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, cafes, shops, and the fresh pasta shop! The town hosts many traditional town feasts, and is only 15 minutes from beaches and mountains. (Exact location is provided after a booking is confirmed.)

    1. Thanks Shari, and we would appreciate it if you would pray that God will help us to use this dwelling as he wants us to. Our only wish is to be a blessing to others and glorify him. I hope to get pics of home interior up next week. We got a sudden blast of cold and it’s just too cold to work over there right now!!

I will pray for daily to be lifted up and continue to find opportunities to share the love of Christ . Ironically I was last night looking at places to stay & things to do since I am traveling to Florence , Venice , Rome with my children this summer . If you have any suggestions- you can email me at xxx. Anything I can do to further your misssion -please let me know .

    1. Thanks Lisa, I’m happy to connect with you too. And thanks, we really do appreciate your prayers. I really don’t have any suggestions about traveling here. We generally stay with friends around the country. As far as things to see – with Florence, Venice, and Rome – there’s so much that it’s hard to fit it all in. But it’s all great! Hope you all have a great time!!
